At HITEC Amsterdam 29th & 30th March 2017 – A new technology joint-venture is set to disrupt the hotel industry's obsolete television systems, enabling guests to access their own content, favourite TV channels and movies through the use of Apple TV.
Announced today, the world-first content system is the result of a partnership between mobile hospitality pioneers Go Find It, and the global leader in hotel Apple TV systems RoomNet TV.
The solution is a 3-in-1 proposition that features traditional live TV plus personalised on-demand content and a seamless guest journey - while delivering substantial cost savings to the hotel.

•Access to services familiar to the guest, such as Netflix, iTunes, HBO and preferred news providers.

• A bespoke App for Apple TV developed by Go Find It, displaying the hotel features, destination specific content and allowing the hotel to display and up-sell its assets like In-room dining, Spa facilities, F & B and other products.

• A win-win solution, improving guest experience while delivering tangible financial benefits to hoteliers.

The switch to mobile App technology not only enables hoteliers the opportunity to engage their guests but also to regain control of a critical client service and marketing tool.

"A TV system is a hotel must have. However, usage and engagement with the traditional systems are extremely low on average. When benchmarked against the high capital expenditure, these TV systems are a very poor performing necessity."

The new Apple TV App built by Go Find It will not only support Apple's TVOS, it will also be available on all mobile devices. It will be managed and updated remotely by Go Find it and RoomNet TV via a cloud solution and replaces traditional TV setups with Apple's latest TV interface.

The bespoke App feature created by Go Find It's global teams also delivers a seamless guest experience, providing destination specific content that is relevant to the guests and showcasing hotel property and in-room services in a stunning interface with POS and PMS integration, helping hoteliers to drive revenue throughout the guests' stay.

Furthermore, hotels can reduce the number of TV channels they pay for and cut spending on satellite dishes, aerials, cabling and servers, therefore lowering costs and improving their profitability.
